Adam Pesapane (hence PES) wasn’t thinking of becoming a director when he graduated from university with a literature and printmaking degree. After landing a pretty uninspiring job at an ad agency, PES began to self-teach himself filmmaking and animation. In 2002 he developed his first animation film Roof Sex, which won Best First Film at Festival of Annecy, the world´s biggest and oldest animation reunion. Today, PES’s projects are highly anticipated, and shorts such as Western Spaghetti, Game Over, Human Skateboard and The Deep have become international hits.
