Nushrat debuted in Jai Santoshi Ma (2006). She later acted in Love Sex aur Dhokha directed by Dibakar Banerjee and shot to prominence with Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) produced by Wide Frame Pictures. She also appeared in many TV advertisements. She once mentioned in an interview with IndiaToday, "I have never been to an acting school and was trained at auditions.” Presently Nushrat’s latest feature film realesed, Luv Ranjan’s Akaashvani where she has been paired with her Pyaar Ka Punchnama co-star, Kartik Tiwari.
